Sales Support & Quotation Engineer (m/f/d)

Support the Interface Between Engineering, Sales, and Customer Solutions

MERECS Engineering develops sophisticated test, measurement, and automation systems for industrial applications. Our projects are created in close collaboration with our customers - from the initial concept through to commissioning.

To accurately evaluate, cost, and present technical solutions, we are looking for a Sales Support & Quotation Engineer with initial experience in test automation.

  • Evaluate customer inquiries for test and automation systems from a technical perspective

  • Prepare and cost quotations in close collaboration with the engineering and sales teams

  • Support the technical pre-sales process

  • Analyze customer requirements and develop appropriate technical solution concepts

  • Coordinate with internal engineering departments to estimate project scope and effort

  • Contribute to the development of technical concepts and statements of work

  • Support the continuous improvement of quotation and cost estimation processes

  • Optionally contribute your initial experience in test automation (e.g., test systems, test benches, or software- and hardware-related test environments)

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable field

  • Initial practical experience in a technical environment, ideally in test automation, test bench engineering, or special-purpose machinery

  • Interest in complex technical systems and their commercial evaluation

  • Structured, analytical, and detail-oriented way of working

  • Strong communication skills when collaborating with engineering and sales teams

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

  • Initial experience with cost estimation, quotations, or technical proposals is an advantage

  • Fluent German and good English language skills
