Student intern in test engineering & software development LabVIEW (m/f/d)

Merecs Engineering – this is the appeal of a young, thriving company offering plenty of opportunities for professional development – for example, moving into a (project) management role, or further deepening your expertise in various technical fields and specialising as a developer.

Merecs Engineering GmbH specialises in the development and construction of test systems and software. We support clients from sectors such as medical technology, automotive suppliers, electronics manufacturers, heat pump manufacturers and companies in the aerospace industry.
The projects are therefore very diverse, and working with us is highly varied and always technically stimulating. Our team, which has grown gradually and works together seamlessly, is characterised by a high level of technical expertise, a friendly working atmosphere and a spirit of teamwork that is evident in our day-to-day work. This forms the foundation for our ability to continue delivering the top quality to our customers that has, to date, been the basis for the company’s growth.
In our 14-year history, hardly any employee has left us, so our aim is for you too to secure a permanent position and enjoy your work after your working student role. You’ll receive on-the-job training from your colleagues, working hours can be arranged flexibly, and your remuneration will be adjusted in line with your performance.
Should any overtime be worked, this can either be paid out or offset at a later date through time off as part of a flexitime arrangement. Free drinks are available whilst you’re at work, and by arrangement, other perks such as a Jobrad scheme and similar benefits are also possible. You can organise your workspace yourself and, for example, order any necessary tools etc. through the appropriate channels.
We would also be happy to support you, if you wish, in your further professional development through training courses (e.g. LabVIEW, EPLAN, ISTQB, SCRUM).

Your responsibilities will include, amongst other things:

  • Developing measurement concepts in collaboration with our team
  • Expanding your skills in using LabVIEW, including CLD certification where applicable
  • Software development in LabVIEW (a mentor will be assigned to provide support)
  • Setting up measurement equipment

We are currently looking for a working student to provide long-term support to our team.
Requirements:

  • Basic knowledge of LabVIEW
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Willingness to learn
